I mean, they implied that they basically had to change to continue as a band, so I guess this is the direction they decided to pivot to. Honestly, I don't blame them. P5 felt like an album made under the ideology of "well, we have to make long djent songs, it's what we do", and it resulted in a very confused album. With this album, they threw a lot out. I have no real opinion of Ironmouse the person, and I don't watch her streams as she just isn't the type of VTuber I find interesting. Now, with that said, Ironmouse should not be singing the vast majority of these songs. She is a competant enough singer for opera, but her vocal performance for everything else, which is the majority of this album, sounds distinctly like a young child with pitch correction.
