An album which reassured many, albeit does somewhat fall off.

Well... as I was saying before the last tracks kinda weren't living up to my expectations after loving the hell out of the first seven tracks. There were spots of interesting ideas like Joba's verse on BIG BOY and the verse from the apparent new member Victor Roberts on his self titled track. I don't think anything is very bad, I just don't think I'll return to these last few tracks. With that out of the way I'm overall pretty happy with this project. NO HALO is a departure from typical in your face heavy bangers like HEAT and NEW ORLEANS, but serves well to introduce the main theme and sound of the project. Production throughout is solid as always but falters a bit at the end in tracks like GINGER and LOVE ME FOR LIFE. I'm still not a big fan of the auto-crooning Brockhampton songs. The singles serve as solid big points in the album, with the exception of the odd and mediocre I BEEN BORN AGAIN. The new ideas from features in the album also overall help it, as I love the Slowthai track HEAVEN BELONGS TO YOU. Overall the lyrical messages this album gives off is a strong enough emotional message to keep people into this new phase. This is obviously far from their strongest record and introduces totally new sounds, but it proves that the boyband still has it on all fronts even after everything that happened.
