Im surprised at the mostly negative reviews of this album i really thought it was one of their best releases it has some undeniable good songs writing on the wall, days of future past and the time machine are all fantastic and sound a bit like they wouldn't be out of place on somewhere in time. IMO this is the best Iron maiden album every single song on the album could have been a single with how powerful each of them are in their own. Not often do you see a metal band get heavier and more intense as they get further into their career, However Pantera is one of the few exceptions as this album is like a punch to face with the self titled intro track making that clear. This album really helped get into the indie/electronic genre of music as I had only previously been a fan of rock and metal. The album has so much to offer musically as each track is unique and experimental in its own way but the album also has a really cool concept behind it as well as the album was made by three artists working together to make a song each month for a whole year.
