Mitski is an incredible artist and it's evident through my reviews I love her. After the last album, I wasn't sure she would write another. She's come back with an incredible piece that grapples with acceptance and love for oneself. She never misses!
As someone who moved far from home for school, all I gotta say is ouch. Phoebe is genuinely so talented it impresses me.
This album has some absolute gems. Lovely composition and instrumentals, alongside beautiful vocals. A truly captivating piece.
Uzi really went all out with this one. I respect them exploring genres regardless of fanbase. Always been a big Uzi fan and it's interesting to see some new stuff from them. don't get me wrong, some of these songs had that same old Uzi flow. The features on this were so cool! Really nice touch with the exploration of genre. You love it or you don't, to each their own.
This album is just so 2017/2018. I get it's not their best but the fcking memories. Miss it.
The only song I like from this album is WCS. There are some catchy lyrics but I can’t see myself putting this album on shuffle and having a good time. Sorry Taylor.
This is the only Taylor album I listen to. It’s amazing and so emotional, I get a lot of people don’t enjoy her “sad girl music” but all I want is more. MTR and TIMT are the best songs on this album, though it’s hard to pick favorites. Taylor really captures moments through words in this album. Love it.
Best studio recordings ever. I Don't Smoke is my fav Mitski song, specifically this version.
Great for feeling myself and going to workout. Some super good songs, some subpar but whatever. Still listening to this album years later so that says something!
Expressive and amazing. Ethel sounds the same live, it's incredible. Her storytelling is so intelligent. The emotion is physical when listening to this album.
Some of my favorite Mitski songs come from this album, she's truly a genius. As I've said with her other albums, certain songs need rerecording in places to capture her emotion fully. I have little to no complaints though!
This EP has really gotten me through it. I found it during quarantine, only to circle back a few years later and enjoy it even more as I grew older. These three harmonize in a way that's indescribable. Each of them have such a unique voice, they blend but you can tell exactly who is who when you focus. Many tears shed.
3 geniuses, I mean it's in the name come on now. This album hits you with a few songs at first and when you listen to it more you find every song has something amazing to offer. Love them!
