Mindless Self Indulgence - You'll Rebel to Anything
60

It's supposedly interesting, but at the same time, it's boring. "You'll Rebel to Anything" has, in my opinion, a very interesting production and instrumentals, but they're lost due to the mediocre vocals and often very weak lyrics. There are, of course, good songs here, like the popular "Shut Me Up" and "What Do They Know?", but aside from those and a few others, the album is just weak. There's a chaos here that Mindless Self Indulgence ... read more

Björk - Vespertine
100

It's simply beautiful.
Björk's 2001 album is a masterpiece; every track on this project is beautiful and unique in its own way. The entire album gives me a vibe I can't describe. Vocally, it's an absolute masterpiece and something that's hard to top. Björk's vocals are so good and convey so much emotion that it's hard to describe. The production, done on a laptop, is just as great as the vocals, and both elements blend perfectly. ... read more

Vince Staples - Cry Baby
80

Vince Staples' new album is simply fantastic. The project lacks the classic hip-hop beats, but it still sounds very good. The flow and lyrics are top-notch, and the production is equally as good. Vince touches on and comments on US politics, and he also discusses his own experiences. Ultimately, the album is simply very good. While I don't like it as much as some of his albums, I still think it's a great piece of music.

JPEGMAFIA - EXPERIMENTAL RAP
75

I'm a bit disappointed. JPEGMAFIA's latest album, "EXPERIMENTAL RAP," isn't a bad project; it has interesting beats, some cool lyrics, and a cool flow. However, compared to JPEG's previous albums, it's a huge step down. Considering that his latest album from 2024 is one of my favorites off all time, I think he's capable of more. "EXPERIMENTAL RAP," surprisingly, isn't that experimental, but it definitely doesn't sound like a typical ... read more

Tiffany Day - HALO
85

A very enjoyable and well-done album. Tiffany Day's 2026 project is truly a pleasure to listen to. Throughout its slightly over 30-minute runtime, "HALO" never lets you get bored. The production is consistently amazing and brilliant, complemented by truly excellent vocals and lyrics. The entire album is simply a pleasure to listen to and never lets you get bored. It has cool electric beats, interesting lyrics, and pleasant vocals—everything a good electropop album needs.

Drake - MAID OF HONOUR
20

I honestly have no fucking words for how Drake can release three albums when everyone expects a major comeback, and each of them is either shitty or mediocre. "Maid of Honor" is definitely the worst of Drake's recent albums. The entire 45 minutes are a failed and clumsy experiment that's truly difficult to listen to in its entirety. There are 14 tracks here, and not a single one is above a 6/10. It's fucking incredible. Production-wise, we have a very weak performance ... read more

Benny the Butcher - The Plugs I Met
75

A very cool and well-done EP. The first part, "The Plugs I Met," released in 2019, only has six tracks and an intro, yet it's still a pleasant listen. The lyrics are very good, as is the production, but I'm personally not a fan of the flow that is characteristic of Griselda members. Despite this, the project is overall very good. However, the best verses on the album belong to guests like Black Thought and Pusha T.

Skepta - Konnichiwa
80

Skepta's "Konnichiwa" is one of the most influential UK modern rap albums. Throughout, there's a really good lyrical performance and a great flow that's characteristic of Skepta. The production on the album is also top-notch, and everything has a grime feel. Ultimately, I think it's a really cool project, and I'll definitely be coming back to it for the catchy beats and great flow.

Drake - ICEMAN
50

"ICEMAN" was seen by Drake fans as an incredible album that would prove he's still capable of making great music. Instead, it turned out to be a classic, mediocre effort for him. This project is definitely overhyped and not as good as fans say. Aside from the fact that we got two additional albums (which are realy bad), it definitely wasn't worth the wait. The rollout took over a year to get a standard mid-album from Drake. There are a few exceptions, but otherwise, there ... read more

Samara Cyn - backroads
75

Samara Cyn's short and sweet 2025 EP, "Backroads," is truly excellent. Maybe not as good as her other projects, but it still maintains a high standard. Her delivery is classic, as is her incredible vocal performance, all wrapped in a calm and well-paced production.

Samara Cyn - The Drive Home
80

She's amazing. In my opinion, Samara Cyn is one of the best rappers on the scene right now. Her excellent vocal skills, combined with her equally good delivery and lyrics, create truly excellent projects and songs. And her 2024 EP is no exception. "The Drive Home" is simply a very good project that features both good vocals, rap performance, and production, and it's only 19 minutes long.

leroy - status update music
75

Damn, I have mixed opinions. On the one hand, it sounds like random sounds, but on the other, there's a truly excellent production performance here. Leroy's "Status Update Music" is a collection of singles we received for the last few months. The project runs for just over an hour, and I had mixed feelings about it. At times, I wanted to turn it off because I was too overstimulated , and at others, I was amazed by the brilliantly chopped samples. I'm not a huge fan of ... read more

Drake - HABIBTI
35

He was supposed to make a big comeback, but so far it's been a huge disappointment. Drake has been teasing "ICEMAN" for about a year, and he's finally released three projects. Honestly, "HABIBTI" is a truly mediocre album, even compared to Drake's recent releases. It's over 30 minutes long, and after the intro, I was ready to turn it off. However, there are some good songs on here, specifically two. "WNBA" and "Slap The City" are ... read more

Samara Cyn - Detour
80

A very good EP. It was my first exposure to Samara Cyn's work, and I'm impressed. At only 20 minutes long, it's a truly enjoyable listen, and the fact that she combines her vocals with her vocal delivery so well makes it worth listening to. Production-wise, "Detour" is okay; nothing groundbreaking, but enjoyable. The vocals are truly incredible, and I look forward to more releases in this style from her.

Petalbyte - <10><
80

A simply brilliant album. Petalbyte's 2026 debut, "<10><," is simply brilliant. The album clocks in at 33 minutes and is a truly enjoyable listen. The production is incredibly creative, and combined with a superb vocal performance classic for this genre, it creates a perfect example of contemporary electronic music. The project's sound strongly reminds me of Ninajirachi and Underscores, ultimately, I think it's one of the best projects this year. I'll ... read more

2hollis - Crashsite
55

Quite average, honestly. 2hollis's new EP from 2026 is an attempt to experiment with more rage-infused beats, but this experiment is a rather mediocre success. The entire short project sounds really average and not very pleasant, and it doesn't stand out in any way. The production is okay, but nothing more, and the vocals are average and don't really fit the beats. Ultimately, I hope 2hollis's future releases will be of a better standard.

Nujabes - Luv(sic) Hexalogy
90

The definition of a gorgeous project. Nujabes and Shing02's 2015 compilation "Luv(sic) Hexalogy" is simply fantastic. The album boasts brilliant, calm production, which, combined with excellent rap performances, creates a project of a very high standard. However, I personally think Nujabes debut, "Metaphorical Music," is slightly better than this album. Despite this, the 2015 compilation is also an incredible project and maintains a very high standard throughout.

Nujabes - Metaphorical Music
95

An absolutely flawless project. Nujabes' debut album, "Metaphoricam Music," is, in my opinion, one of the best albums ever made. It may not be in my top three, but it's still truly solid and good material. For just over an hour, the album continues to deliver incredible impressions and vibes thanks to its holy and brilliant production. Additionally, some tracks also feature other artists rapping, which is on par with the production, simply brilliant. Every rap track on this ... read more

Black Thought & Danger Mouse - Cheat Codes
85

A truly great album. The 2022 collaboration between Danger Mouse and Black Thought is simply fantastic. Throughout its 38-minute runtime, "Cheat Codes" features truly excellent beats that perfectly fit the project's vibe, all enhanced by equally brilliant vocals from Black Thought and guests like A$AP Rocky, MF DOOM, and Run the Jewels, each of whom delivers a fantastic performance and showcases their skills. Ultimately, this is undoubtedly one of the best rap projects of 2022, ... read more

Jim Legxacy - black british music (2025)
80

A pretty good project. Jim Legxacy showed off his strong side with his 2025 album. "Black British Music (2025)" is a truly interesting and enjoyable project. There are a lot of great lyrics and a cool flow, but also a lot of pleasant production moments and great vocal performances. The entire album isn't a typical rap album, but something more with its R&B elements. Ultimately, it's a really cool and enjoyable project, and I'll be waiting for future releases from ... read more
