Nothing too special, but it's new Freddie Gibbs, so, of course, it's good.
I fw it overall. Really impressed with her personal style. Also, on demand and come together are fantastic.
Glorilla and 21 summed up the album pretty well. Its Dogshit
Welp. After all. It's a 6/10. And I gotta review the other three. I'm never staying up for a Drake album again, because, like, what the hell? 😒 I'm just happy it's not a bad album. On another high note, I like how Drake gave back to his home (toronto) and how this is the hungriest he's sounded in a while; it's just a shame how the second half is a little less focused than the first half.
If any album was gonna be my 150th rating, I'm glad it's this one. This album has undergone so much (everyone should know why), and the result? I'm pleasantly surprised but still disappointed. This album has issues, such as the AI not being completely removed (which I will never defend), and it somewhat feels like a high-quality rough draft. However, it's still a very refreshing listen overall. (Also WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO CIRCLES?)
If Lauryn hill didn't drop her album this would probably be my favorite freshman album.
Hot take (I guess), but I think this is a great album. Cinema and Submarine are on the same level in my opinion.
A good friend of mine recommended that I listen to this album, and I loved it. I'd only really listened to select songs from Gorillaz, but after this imma listen to their discography.
It's 31 minutes of new Bruno Mars. We'll see how it ages but for now it's alr
