Near perfect album. The variety in songs meant listening to this didn’t drag, this is the kind of music I’d listen to on a daily basis. ‘T Love’ stood out to me the most, but all tracks were amazing.

Repetition is a common theme in this album actually which I do appreciate as an artistic expression but (in my opinion anyway) what makes a song good are changes throughout to break up different parts - although the instrumentals were really nice, hearing the same guitar progression and the same melody sung for 4, almost 5 minutes gets tiring. ‘Disappear’ was nice for a bit, it reminded me of an ex-oomf’s music but again, the repetition ... read more

[LMTV Week 26]
This album was alright I guess… it was really repetitive though, to the point where I had to stop half way through listening and finish it later just so I gave my brain a break. Not the best LMTV pick but also not the worst.

This type of sound is EXACTLY what I’m into. It kinda reminds me of The Night Café, I’m still mourning them so listening to this album was bittersweet. The shoegaze/indie rock/emo vibe Modern Color has going on for them is a really good listen and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’d definitely listen to them outside of LMTV.
