3rd Eye Magic - No Questions Asked

This was very boring and C Young's lyrics were abysmal. His isn't isn't bad most of the time though. This tape is absolutely carried by the production. Every 3rd Eye Magic album feels a lot longer than it really is though.

Favourite Track: Astral Plane

Charles Hamilton - @SEGA

This was quite boring. The mixing isn't very good and there are a few bad samples. God Exists and If It Isn't It aren't bad but the rest of the tape is very messy and Charles' vocals aren't that exciting.

Favourite Track: God Exists

This was an incrediblly fun tape to listen to like all demevolist projects are. The beats are very simple but effective as usual with a mainstream inspired sound. Not a single decent song on this tape they all stood out as amazing.

There's much life in the rapping, the wordplay and humor is amazing and every chorus is strong and very catchy. Everyone did their part in this and it shows. It's always a pleasure listening to demevolist projects, there's never been a bad song on ... read more

This is just the same tape as Arguments With Briana: When I Wanna Wonder but without Briana's Universe. He's just rapping on classic beats on this tape. The mixing on his voice is a bit too loud and isn mixed well but there are times in this tape where he raps incredibly well.

Favourite Track: Stand In Line

This is just the same tape as October 27th/28th Tweets (Hi Briana.) but with an one more song (Briana Universe). He's just rapping on classic beats on this tape. The mixing on his voice is a bit too loud and isn mixed well but there are times in this tape where he raps incredibly well.

Favourite Track: Stand In Line

Charles Hamilton - Gynophobia 2: Be on Day

This is a decent beat tape. It's quite inconsistent but the highs are decent. Very similar to Gynophobia in it's frantic sample chops and energy. Quite a bit of aggression in the chops like gynophobia which gives this a nice unique sound.

Favourite Tracks: Craters and Doin

Charles Hamilton - StH: Boom
76

Poor sound quality like most of his 2017 tapes but this was pretty decent. The beats are very fun and Charles raps quite well. It sort of has a concept with Charles including clips from Sonic Boom. The mixing isn't that bad but this type of abstract sampling is hard to make sound too good with bad mixing.

Favourite track: Doomsday Zone Act 1

Charles Hamilton - AtariDream5

Very busy instrumentals with lots of sound effects and synths. This was quite a fun one to listen to. The beats are all very intense but it sounds very satisfying.

Favourite Track: Prideful Lust

Charles Hamilton - Electric Solstice

This is very good for 2017. Decent mixing, very smooth and digestible sampling, and amazing flows and lyrics. There's emotion in the songs which barely happens in this era. Very enjoyable listen. Wasted life hits hard.

Favourite Track: Wasted Life

This was such an amazing tape to listen to. It's got the constant sampling technique of A Dragon's Tail but it's 10x more interesting. He adds intricate drums, instrumentation, and sound effects to make some really unique grooves. I don't think he's made anything like this in his career. And he has that hunger in his voice when rapping. You already know he loved making this. The quality doesn't change at any point either, it's just banger after ... read more

Quite inconsistent in quality with high highs but low lows. The mixing is listenable but it would make songs like Triangle Offense 1 and So To Peak 1 compete with his best beats. Some smooth sampling and great rapping. Only 27 minutes but I really enjoyed it.

Favourite Track: Triangle Offense 1

Charles Hamilton - Mastery: The Love Album

Beautiful jazzy production and amazing rapping and choruses from Charles. It's definitely got the feeling of warmth in it from the production and smooth rapping. He doesn't miss once. Cupid & I and Turtle Beach are amazing songs.

Favourite Track: Turtle Beach

Charles Hamilton - At Most I'm Just... 2: Forced Modesty

The production is quite interesting but repetitive for most of the tape. Charles raps pretty well but the choruses aren't that good. Very reminiscent of this era. Unfortunately there's nothing special.

Favourite Track: Loan Sharks

Charles Hamilton - Ugly Desdemona

This is a very weird tape. It's really bad and has horrible mixing, but it's also really good. Production has a lot of life to it in some songs and Charles goes off on all of the songs. With good mixing this is a really good mixtape. I should like this but I think it deserves a decent score I enjoyed it even though the mixing is bad.

Favourite Tracks: Batteries Included and See the Light

Charles Hamilton - Gullible Me

80 minutes of surprisingly good CH songs. It was release in a rough part of his career but he still has his bouncy drums and signature sampling. It reminds me a lot of The Charles Hamilton Project. It's like if that was made with 2012 Charles Hamilton production quality. Charles sounds quite good on this too. There are some really good songs on this worth listening to.

Favourite Track: This Song's Instrumental is my girlfriend

Charles Hamilton - Camera Coolant (Egyptian Circus)

Probably the most inconsistent tape I've heard from Charles so far. Some of the songs are bearable like Dr. Love (DiscoGoth) but some songs on here are Hov Kitty level. Turban Music might be Chinese Laundry Level. Horrible mixing and it's just really boring. Not really any good songs on this.

Favourite Track: Dr. Love (DiscoGoth)

Charles Hamilton - The Black Owl

The whole tape is Jay-Z remixes from Charles. Charles' production is pretty strong on this though. Some aren't much worse than the originals but this probably isn't one to come back to. It's carried by Jay.

Favourite Track: Clothing

Charles Hamilton - Subconscious Deception

I expected more from this tape with it being his only mixtape in 2015 but it still holds up. Surprisingly it had Charles' usual mixtape style instead of mainstream. I expected a The Black Box style but I sort of prefer this. The chops on this take are really good. It's usually a short loop for the whole song but he does add b sections on some tracks like on Directed By which sound amazing. Creative beats, energetic rapping, overall a solid project. Very consistent.

Addicting beat and flow. Charles seems to hate this song which is probably because it has a very mainstream sound. It's pretty good.

Charles Hamilton - Men In Black IV: Pug Walk

Only 15 minutes, the sound quality is pretty jarring but the beats have a lot of character and Charles brings a lot of energy. Strong choruses throughout. He raps of Electric Relaxation which had so much potential but he didn't rap that well on it. Early Charles would have destroyed that beat unfortunately. The mixing is pretty bad. He somehow made the Electric Relaxation beat have really bad mixing and full of static.

"It said on apple music "Album by Charles Hamilton" and on this site: https://www.jiosaavn.com/album/the-pharaohs-trillions/JIPoVbxyP5E_ But I've now realised the apple music calls any collection of songs and an album. He doesn't mention this tape on his blog so we can't be 100% sure. But it might be a mixtape."

"Yeaa I get I might have been a bit harsh it's just 15 hours is way too long. Now I think of it I might put it out to like 5 since there were a few good instrumentals like Catholic guitarist. I did listen to the whole thing so I wasn't in a very good mood at the end lol"
