Easily the most over-rated pop musician of the 21st century.
The title track is the one for me with its lush and moody ambience. I honestly don't bother listening to the rest of this EP, but this one song is so lovely.
This was a big disappointment for me after their last album, Ego Death, was so exciting.
Sophomore slump syndrome slips this shiny set of songs into super long line of songwriters who missed the boat on their second attempt. This is a voyage I don't feel like reliving, unlike the brilliant first album. Visions of Someone Special, On a Wall of Reflections is my favorite.
I listened to the track Black Willow around 6 times in a row the first time I heard it. This has happened less than 10 times in my long history of listening to music as though it was oxygen needed to keep my body alive. There are a few other standout tunes like Who Is Speaking and Sundogs, but I kinda just want this album to be Black Willow 10 times in a row.
