Load as an album has grown on my a lot over the last few months
I used to hate this album for it's sound being influenced by Grunge & Blues Rock, but fuck I was wrong
Not only has this album aged surprisingly well, but I think it has aged nearly as well Metallica (self titled black album)
This album may not have any major highlights like AJFA or MOP, but it wasn't trying to be those albums
Load is a different album and an experiment by an established band that grew tired of their classic sound
James's vocals on this album are among his best vocal performances ever, they're so clean and smooth
The guitar tone on this album is also surprisingly great
Not much for me to complain about here besides that it's not a thrash album
But it doesn't need to be
Most of this album is extremely consistent at what it does
There's only one bad song on this album, and even then, they have far worse songs from the Load/Reload era
And King Nothing is better than Enter Sandman by far
Best - Until it Sleeps, King Nothing, Mama Said
Worst - Poor Twisted Me
