Throughout pretty much every music circle I've been in, OK Computer is considered one of the true classics, especially within the genre of alternative rock. I think this album is very reminiscent of Pink Floyd's works released in the 1970s, but with a more modernized style. Much like Pink Floyd's works, this album sits on a buffer zone between accessibility and experimentation, which, in my opinion, is why it's so loved by critics and general music listeners alike. This album is something a lot of people can enjoy, which is admirable. Many albums that try to be experimental and accessible simultaneously usually fail miserably at it, it takes a lot of talent and dedication to hit that buffer zone. There are a few bumps in the track list, such as "Let Down" and "No Surprises," which are a bit too repetitive for my liking and not what I want from an album like this. However, the album still stands as one of the best out there and provided a good transition into what Radiohead would eventually do in their projects to follow.
