JID's best project to this day and one of my personal favorite rap albums of all time. Cohesive listen front to back with no shortage of thoughtful songwriting; JID's flows are at his most infectious; the production and features are consistently unique and creative yet easy to listen to; and of course, Off Deez - 151 Rum - Off da Zoinkys is a historic three track run.
Doing this so early in a rap career is unimaginable. Sonically interesting yet thematic, lyrically captivating yet easy to listen to, and a true no skip.
Remains Curry’s magnum opus to this day. The album’s title track is one of the most lyrically beautiful rap songs in recent memory, and yet not long afterwards Curry forcefully reminds us on songs like Sumo and Percz of the sheer rapping power he commands at the microphone.
One of those albums you have to listen to every song in order or else you get the exact opposite of the desired effect
