Damiano David - FUNNY little FEARS
46

It started off really well like the first 3 songs are good. Born with a broken heart is also really good but more soulless than the other songs. Former Maneskin Lead singer goes full commercial pop. Some of these songs are so beyond soulless and sung with zero soul. I hate the doo wop cuts on this. If you would some of the songs on this I wouldn’t even notice because they are that forgettable. Some songs also feel like the idea was there but way too lazy to finish it or write different ... read more

Porter Robinson - SMILE! :D
83

Yeah this is great. At parts it sounds way too polished tho. Like way too clean which just tells how much of a great producer he is. This genre should be called post indie because it’s way more than that.

Turnstile - NEVER ENOUGH
82

Solid song and really promising for the upcoming album. Glow on was a masterpiece. And now they are diving into the artsy hardcore influenced rock even further. Can’t wait

Doechii - Alligator Bites Never Heal
53

Meh. There are a couple of ok songs in here and a really good one with a shit ton of personality. Denial is a river should have been the theme of the whole record as this thing is packed with a lot of filler and a whole bunch of nonsense. That song has more personality than the 18 songs combined. For the rest it’s a bunch of ripoffs of Doja Cat, Meghan thee stallion and some Kendrick riff raffs. But other than that she does have the potential to be an individual. But some of the songs ... read more

Linkin Park - From Zero

I don’t understand what went so off the rails with this. This feels rushed and as soulless as it comes. This is just as corporate as it gets. Mike Shinoda has no self awareness as a songwriter. Some songs are copy and pasted from previous linkin park records. And when the songs have momentum going for them they ruin it with something silly. This feels clueless sometimes. Like they threw this together in a week or something. Like I listened to Mike shinodas solo work. And this sounds the ... read more

ROSÉ - APT.
47

Without the pre chorus, this isn’t a good song. Pop Music is there to not make something catchy like saying apt but to capture a feeling and an escape from reality. This song fails to be even musical at times. It just proves that Bruno Mars can make anything sound good.

Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)

This is what Hip Hop is all about. Every Song is filled with personality, great beats and flows that blow your mind. Can’t even emphasise on personality enough. Perfect hip hop record

The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead

Poetic, Creative and infectious. Everything about this is as unique as it comes. Every song is as infectious as the next. Marrs guitar playing is creative and unique to the point you can’t replicate it at all. The bass playing is insanely tight and groovy and the drums is almost like Ringo came in to play with them, because it makes it come together really nicely and brings out the best out of everyone. And then to top it off you have one of the most unique vocal styles and an insane ... read more

Radiohead - OK Computer

I’ve never been more disappointed in my life. I must have fell on my head a couple of times in my life because this sounds just really boring to me. It’s like background music to just chill out to. The Lyrics aren’t spectacular and the Vocal deliveries are half assed to say the least. The instrumentals are good but go on for way too long without any change and at times funnily enough the music becomes really predictable for each song. I just don’t enjoy this as much as ... read more

Oasis - Definitely Maybe
77

When Oasis announced they would get together again after the Gallagher brothers 10+ year war. I had to check out what the fuss was about and to say the least I’m kind of disappointed since it sounds like just average background music to my ears. The instrumentation is great, but can get really messy at times since the layers of guitars just clash together without any noticeable mixing. The singing kills the vibe for me to the upmost. It’s whiny, annoying and monotone. The songs have ... read more

Chappell Roan - The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess
82

I’m straight as a line but I can recognise that this is just really consistently good pop Music. It’s everything pop music meant to be. FUN and recognisable. Hopefully the next record goes in another direction tho as this is very straight to the point and would say that the sound was played out a bit throughout the 50 minutes. But other than that, it’s one of the best pop records to come out in recent times. Her and Olivia Rodrigo are leading the way of good pop Musicians in ... read more

Falling In Reverse - Popular Monster
20

What. A. Mess. 7/11 songs are genuinely unenjoyable. The filler songs had to be done in about 10 minutes… there is no way. Why did he remake popular monster too? What was the point? I’m a fan of the guy and his previous music and a couple of songs on the record are good, but idk what he was trying to acomplish with this one. Straight up Tom McDonald - Core.

Eminem - The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)
31

Meh… He has nothing to say. And that says a lot about where Eminem is at right now. I thought we were over the cancelled Eminem arch. It just sounds like my dad or a relative that is trying to be really edgy. I don’t feel like partying either to these songs. Eminems ability to rap is there as is always was but he sounds like a divorce dad that has nothing to say.

Falling In Reverse - Fashionably Late
74

Its not as bad as the reviews make it out to be. It’s a mix of everything from metalcore to straight up pop Rock. The writing is incredibly good and the vocals are great along with the instrumentals. Say what you want but this is far from corny. It’s super fun if anything. Heard way worse music in my lifetime and this is not unlistenable. If you find this corny drop all the glam metal/glam rock bands from your playlists because this is basically the same

Katy Perry - Teenage Dream
82

Golden Era of Pop Music. So many stars just disappeared from the greatest time period in pop. California Gurls use to play on mtv all the time and it’s crazy how well this has aged. You don’t hear pop music like this anymore. They Captured every feeling on this record perfectly. Insanely good pop record.

Black Eyed Peas - The E.N.D.
70

I actually look very fondly over this time period in pop music. It’s not a masterpiece but none of the music in this time period was. During this time people did not care about how well written the music was, it was more about capturing a feeling. And that’s why you may not even relate to the music but you still feel something and that’s what most pop is missing nowadays. Early 2010 - Late 2000s dance pop was a golden era of pop music. Good record no matter how dumb it is. Not ... read more

SOPHIE - OIL OF EVERY PEARL'S UN-INSIDES
93

She was so far ahead of the curb that its unbelievable. Its sad she got taken away from us so early, especially because she couldnt live like herself for a majority of her life. Other than that without her PC Music wouldnt have been as popular as it is at all. She influenced everybody. This Record goes so hard. Its ok to cry is one of the most beautiful songs ive ever heard. I would be surprised if we see anything as good as her work in this music scene. because its near impossible.

Charli xcx - how i'm feeling now
87

This is cutting edge. Pandemic sucked but Music was at its peak tbh. her best record to date

Charli xcx - BRAT
75

Uhm, Yeah idk. I don´t get it. Like we heard this a a couple of times before. She isnt inventing something new here. she isnt going out of her confortzone at all. Doesnt mean its bad necesseraly but i heard this before and none of the songs really grab me except von dutch. Like we heard Charli exploring her emotional side before. Other than that its safe to say that nobody can replicate Sophie. She made Charli sound like she was the past, present and the future and these new producers ... read more

Architects - Curse

Architects still rely insanely on a formula that they can´t seem to break away from. Its not that its bad but they keep making the same song a 1000 times over now. Just pls step out your confort zone for once

"You should rate the music and not their antics off the stage. You also must be a lot of fun at parties. This is Rock. It should be rebellious and an escape from the real world. No politics just the grass is green and the girls are pretty. It’s a view to a much simpler mindset"
On Mega's review of Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction
"I don’t agree with Apple Music putting Frank Ocean top 10 let alone the top 100. But this has its place everywhere since this was their debut and it was by far the best rock record that came out up until then. No one even came close. Every song hits just as hard as the other. It’s overplayed but you’ll never forget the first time you hear the songs"

"@HattieJosh I like Guns n Roses. Just not the 2nd part of the Double Album. As it sounds like a bunch of filler with no real motive. FIR has some bops but I don’t like everything they ever released either. And can’t really compare the 2 bands as FIR does not belong o one of the best rock bands of all time. This record sounds like the party is already over and we are just reminiscing of the first one."
On Sigster's review of Bring Me The Horizon - POST HUMAN: NeX GEn
"The problem with metalcore doesn’t lie within the music. All the bands you mentioned kick ass, but having a personality in an out of the music is basically non existent within the genre. Oli Sykes personality and how open he is about his struggles made him an icon. People like personalities and a lot of bands are afraid to show theirs, hence the plain t shirts in a basement with led lights. Iykyk"

"Why do you think he isn’t a good person? Because he is beefing with no names online? Or because he threw a mic stand in the crowd once? Or because he went to jail for organising a brawl at 24? What he did is in the past. But since the jail days he is a changed person"

"Can you tell me a time when metalcore wasn’t whiny and screamy? It’s literally in the name metal + hardcore. The boring wave of metalcore of 5 guys in a basement with plane T-shirts and led lights isn’t any better"

"Jordan left because he couldn’t handle that everybody was payed the same amount dude and because he couldn’t handle Oli being a creative mastermind that rewrites songs a 1000 times. BMTH pushes boundaries. Jordan just keeps it simple and was holding back BMTH"
On Schizoid man's review of Bring Me The Horizon - POST HUMAN: NeX GEn
"If you listen to BMTH long enough, you realise they never make a record sound the same even remotely. They get bored easaly since they are on the road almost all year playing the same songs over and over and the band does not consist of hardcore metalheads rather than scene kids that grew up in the 2000s and this album is exactly that. A pure nostalgia bomb for 2000s kids."
On π“˜ 𝓓𝓸𝓷’𝓽 π“šπ“·π“Έπ”€'s review of Bring Me The Horizon - POST HUMAN: NeX GEn
"You can’t compare the 2 bands at all and tbh it’s an insult to BMTH if anything. Twenty one pilots have a very distinctive sound and they haven’t changed it for 10+ years. BMTH on the other hand are innovators and trendsetters of the Metalcore scene. Everything they’ve done so far inspired other bands to change their sound. They are push in every boundary possible music wise but can’t say the same for Twenty one Pilots. With BMTH every album sound different because they don’t want to stick with a sound."
