propeller is the gbv record for party people. though it's certainly rougher and a bit more aggressive than their later stuff, it feels like their sound was already fully calcified by this point.

sort of like the age of adz and peter gabriel 3 and some electronic album im not cool enough to know about (aphex twin? squarepusher? cant say without sounding like guy whos only seen boss baby watching his second movie) rolled into one and made by a great friend of mine with whom i rode the iron gwazi rollercoaster at busch gardens tampa amusement park twice. found it a bit frontloaded but so is skylarking and thats one of the greatest records ever made so its alright. also im in it sort of ! ... read more
everything about this is so great except for the terribly chintzy plastic production which unfortunately sucks the life out of a lot of these great songs
