Holy schmoley this album is awesome!
I heard sematary back in 2022, and genuinely thought the shit was awful as hell, but I believe people are true when saying giving him a chance makes him great.
Besides GODS WISDOM verse on toolbox, the albums quality is genuinely great for giving off the vibe of a shitshow, which feels intentional and kinda makes me like it more.
Favorite Tracks: Reverence, Bunny Suit
Least Favorite Tracks: Toolbox-GODS WISDOM verse, Shotgun-Semetary Verse (still not ... read more
Song needs love fr. I just love the simplistic trap feel so much
This is like one of three songs that sound like scripture
Jesus do I got a lot to say about this album.
So, about September of 2025, I was just scrolling through IG, and heard a snippet of “back in our minds”, and I thought: “that sounded pretty neat! Why not listen to this fully”, and then, kablooey.
I listened to the title track “maggot brain” firstly on my way driving home from school, and this is probably the only time I have sat in a car, choosing to listen to a song fully. Goddamn, if there was any song to ... read more
Dawg, what the fuck is this album, and why is it so good?
Action Bronson is an artist I’ve always heard about, but never heard. But this, THIS album, makes me so excited for the rest of his catalogue. It truly never gets boring, even after multiple plays, and has some of the greatest hip hop songs I’ve ever heard. I genuinely think “Through the eyes of a G” is an 11/10 song, and is in my top 10 hip hop songs oat. He’s so charismatic on this, and makes you laugh, ... read more
Pouya experimented, and fuck dawg… I love it so much
The album does start off very weak. The first two tracks are definitely the worst, but the album is just so good afterwards. SATELLITE is probably the most beautiful, and a good contender for my favorite Pouya track(right up there with Aftershock with me). EVRYTHING else is about an 8/10, but damn, the last 5 tracks easily make up for the first two.
(Getting faded to SATELLITE when you have sumn to cry about is probably the feeling I ... read more
This album just makes me feel like I actually am THC
Gnarly and In Da Party are definitely in my top 5 songs of this year.

DRAIN THE SWAMP, DARKIE DRAIN THE SWAMP!
This song is a slight improvement on the previous EP, but is very varying in quality throughout songs in my opinion. I believe that this albums highs are very high, and lows are very low. The only way I can describe this album is like a steep downward slope starting at “SPIDER GANG”, then slowly goes back up after ... read more

Totally forgot that I was gonna do a discography dive for darkie, but I think right now, it is a good time to do so, just to commemorate the retirement of the character(kinda cried when I heard this).
On the topic of darkie, there’s two sides, absolutely and utterly chaotic, or the most calming shit you’ll ever hear, and this is one of his chaotic projects. This ... read more
This is the darkie I need, this is the darkie I love.
I remember stumbling across Lil Darkie in 2021, and from that point on his music became something way bigger than just songs to me. Every track felt like a release, a place where I could pour all the things I couldn’t say out loud. His rawness and energy gave me comfort in times when I felt like no one else could understand. Even if it wasn’t always about him or his words directly, the presence of his music in my life helped me ... read more

The catalyst for everything after, and it isn’t that good
The album has some decent substance, but the project just gets very repetitive after a while. A lot of it sounds the same, except for two songs, the project kind of felt like a chore to listen to.
I like listening to his later works after this, just to see how far that he has come as an artist and how much ... read more
Don’t know why, but listening to this makes me feel like a girlboss.
Better than the original Sexyback for sure.
This album marks a turning point for me. It came at a time when I was searching for something I didn’t yet have, the freedom to just be myself. For reasons I actually don’t have, hyperpop as a genre gave me that space. It helped me grow into the person I wanted to be, instead of changing to fit the expectations of others.
This EP is what started to make me feel this way, and later helped me develop into myself. The songs on this EP are all near perfection for hyperpop, one being in ... read more
It might just be me, but boobie’s one of the most underrated in the game right now. He can spit like crazy, he rarely misses, and he knows how to talk his shit with it sounding good
Lootaveli is a great example of boobie’s ability. All tracks are easy to listen to, and sound great. He’s so alive and bouncy on this album, and is some good music to listen to to get hype or if you tryna feel like some real shit. Personally makes me feel mad confident listening to this album.

GODHANDUSA has such a unique sound. honestly, it’s some of the most fun music I’ve heard in a while. This mixtape is a solid outing from the collective, and I think it even has their best track yet. The production is really impressive and gives off vibes that could’ve come straight out of Memphis, which is pretty cool.
The album stays consistent in quality, though I do notice a bit of a high and low. Personally, I think Gonda’s verses don’t hit quite as hard as ... read more
This one. This is the best song of all time. That one.
Nothing else needed to say, expect this capulates everything a song should be.
Welp, I guess I’m a basement dweller now.
This song is genuinely so good. It’s the most replayable song I’ve heard in recent memory. The instrumentation is damn near perfect, the verses are fun to sing along to, and the chorus’ feel so climactic. I genuinely feel like I’m ejactualating while hearing them.
This song is awesome, but I kinda feel gay after listening to it.
