i've found myself listening to this album a lot more than i thought i would've liked to..

to me, 40% of the time it sounds kinda generic, and in the other 40% its the most linkin park raprocky they've sounded, and i so Do Not enjoy listening to linkin park.
almost everything on it sounds really overproduced for how raw and transparent it actually is as a narrative.

all killer no filler. just such tight pacing and not a single track lacking or out of place. IA has mastered the art of distilling an album, leaving behind nothing but pure quality. probably already one of the greatest modern metalcore albums, and absolutely the best modern metal release of 2023, in a year absolutely stacked with fantastic metal opuses.
