Björk 4/?
Historically, Post has been one of my least revisited Björk albums. Before this particular listen, I had always found this project extremely overrated. Not that it’s bad or anything; Björk has never released a bad album. However, I could never truly get the praise. On this listen though. Wow. This is only a half step below Homogenic for me, and Homogenic is quite literally one of my favorite albums of all time. Post hits all of the boxes for a near perfect pop album. There is not ONE miss on this thing. It was just constantly thought provoking, with a good mixture of tracks that are ethereal and hazy, and others which borrow from the hardcore dance scene at the time. This was a wild re-listen for me fs. This is a drastic improvement from Debut.
