Tally Hall - Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum

Thank you all for 300 followers, I appreciate each and every one of you very much :D

I feel like my discovery of Tally Hall was a turning point for me as a music listener. They were the second artist I ever got into, right after Lemon Demon after I read about people comparing the two groups together. Which makes complete sense, as they are both extremely dorky indie bands writing silly songs about silly subjects. Unlike Lemon Demon however, they experimented a lot more with other genres, which ... read more

I want Mallwhore Freestyle to play at my funeral but only the part with the spring sound effect

Bladee’s Icedancer is a pretty decent cloud rap mixtape with ethereal production and mumbly, auto-tuned vocal deliveries. I can’t help but wish some of the ideas were more fleshed out though, some had real potential but didn’t allow it time to grow (the Cartier God intermission is longer than Jaws and that’s criminal😭). Lyrically, topics range from flexing about wealth to ... read more

Everything feels so raw and intimate, like the songs are being performed ... read more

Family Force 5 - Business Up Front / Party in the Back

Music to demand your children get you another beer to

Business Up Front / Party in The Back is the best type of bad music, the kind where it’s awful, but it’s a fun time to listen to it. The instrumentals sound like a D-tier hard rock band combined with hip-hop record scratches and synths. The vocals are laughably ameteur with poor usage of autotune sprinkled throughout. The lyrics range from completely ok to impossible to take seriously. It’s a classic case of “so bad ... read more
