It is safe to say this album is miles ahead of what her debut was. The album strips of the contemporary elements her debur possessed and dives into heaviest electronic sounds. The albums opener, Hocus Pocus is a precursor to the maximalist approach this album choose as a direction. It is an infectious EDM number. lke many other on the album.
The albums clear highlight is So Unforgettable with its ready on the floor approach, completed by amazing synths.

This album was very high highs but is slandered by its unnecessarily long runtime and tracklist. It seems like Christina and her team tried to appeal to as many audiences as possible with this amount of tracks.
The album kicks off strong with it's galactic intro and the anthemic Can't Hold Us Down. The album then starts to tell a story of heartache and abuse, which ends with Christina fighting for what's right for her with Fighter. Then the album delves into topics of love and ... read more

This is such well executed album, it shows a mature Kylie with diva sassiness taking over the dancefloor. Better the Devil You Know is the obvious stand out in the album but tracks like Step Back In Time, Shocked, One Boy Girl and Things Can Only Get Better show us what Kylie can achieve with oldie synths and crazy grooves.

The best way to describe this album is rushed. The production is very boring but the album gets better towards the end. I'm Over Dreaming (Over You) with its triumphant chorus. Enjoy Yourself is arguably the best track on the record with it infectious disco groove.

You would think this album would be very average SAW album but Kylie really proves she was destined to be a juggernaut even with her debut. Every track is delightful back to back, maybe except I'll Still Bee Loving You, which is fine. Every single tracks offer dated but fantastic dance-pop quality hat screams 80s into your face. One of better albums.
