Welp, the end of Houndmouth has arrived. This new reinvention of themselves has taken the band to a new direction: the toilet. We'll always have "Little Neon Limelight" to go back to, at least.
The hardest part about trying to review (hell, listen to) music is trying to listen to it on its own merits, regardless of what the band's previous albums sounded like or how you felt about them.
I know die-hard AF fans probably hate this because it's not "Funeral".
Take all their other albums away, and this is solid. Hell, I'll even compare it to their others and still say the same thing.
