I wanted to fall in love with this record so badly especially after the super positive reception of water; however, I feel this record really failed to actualize all the talent here and just takes the choice of playing it incredibly safe. I think this is best highlighted on the song On and On which honestly just sounds like an Ariana Grande song. The features on this project really do just take away from things mostly, especially Mr. Scott on the remix here adding absolutely jack shit to the track overall. Maybe with further listens more will click but right now I am remain hopeful the next project will push the needle a bit more.
