Please Please Please

Please Please Please comes off to me as a self-deprecating radio track covering themes of trying to control a prospective lover and the reception from those around you. Yeah, the song is chock-full of corny lines and a repetitive earworm chorus, but I don't consider myself at all shocked by that given that is the territory for this sort of pop music. I think the song is pretty sweet and pleasant to the ears and I look forward to that damn, "I beg you don't embarrass me motherfucker" line every listen. I don't expect this track to hit the heights of espresso, but the track is fine and I wouldn't be surprised if it is one of my favorites off the upcoming album.

Edit 06/20/24 80 -> 85: I literally cannot get it out of my head. So far this is not a problem. If it goes another day though I might need help.

Edit 06/23/24 85 -> 90: I haven't listened to Espresso nearly as much as I have been blaring this track. It's my birthday, I am allowed to do this.
