This is a great album from Coldplay that I don't think they have been able to replicate. Every part of this album feels grand and adds a purpose to the album as a whole. The album in it's entirety is a great listen from track to track, and it really shows the potential of Coldplay.
The songs are nice, but the album feels very repetitive. Every song just sounds too similar to each other to warrant listening to the album all the way through. Although they are similar, each song is beautiful in it's own way and are still very good songs. So, this album is good, but lacks any variety in it's tracks.
Donda is just a very nice album with some catchy songs with great features, but also has weird inclusions like "Tell The Vision" and the "Pt. 2" tracks. Other than that, a very solid and enjoyable listen.
The atmosphere of To Pimp A Butterfly is immediately clear from the beautiful opener that is Wesley's Theory. Across this entire album is a masterpiece of musical work and talent that is displayed wonderfully by Kendrick. The features are chosen perfectly and only add to how great this album actually is. 10/10.
