I stayed away from this by design--- after the whole farewell tour at MSG I could not just jump right back in. That and the Arcade Fire album Murphy produced is average-- at best (still disappointed). Very much felt like LCD was done and a new album was unwise and unnecessary.

I gave this a 100. Its not a 100, but it sure as hell is a damn sight better than 69. Its a late career Beck album-- its enjoyable to listen to and has more high points than you might expect.

Joy Division put this out in '79. How is that post punk? This is 6 months before London Calling. Anyway, love it.
