I was once a huge U2 fan in my teens (90s), but this is... a short collection of... mediocre non-melodious songs. I appreciate the sentiment behind some of the lyrics and subject matter, and love the political edge, but this was not a very enjoyable (first) listen.
One Life At A Time is the closest to the classic U2 sound, but that's not saying much.
Finally, my favorite female artist drops a new single. This one is strange, with witchy, spooky vibes. Cleary made to be fully appreciated while stoned... I'm already enjoying it, but once I've listened to this under some influence... I'll come back and adjust the rating. :P
Not as taken by the sequel as the original Eusexua album that came out earlier this year (an early contender for my AOTY), but it still transports you, especially when taking a ride with your best friend.
