Queens of the Stone Age - ...Like Clockwork
89

What a banger this is, watch me listen to their entire discography now

My New Band Believe - Numerology
97

Yeah this shit absolutely bangs, long live Black Midi solo projects 😛

Champion Trees - A Duck’s Water Off My Back
83

A very beautiful and undoubtedly emotional album with a nice variety of instruments that were used at key times to create a greater melodic impact

Joji - Piss In The Wind
54

I’ve never been a massive Joji lover but this is the nail in the coffin for any artistic respect I might’ve had for him. For him to emerge after 4 years with 45 minutes of plain, lo-fi beats that I could’ve cooked up in garage band is disappointing to say the least

Feng - Weekend Rockstar
45

XOXO will always be a classic but to see it side by side with these ass tracks feels like a kick straight to the testes. Where did my goat go

femtanyl - MAN BITES DOG
82

This shit is so hard. I think we need to normalise making weirder music because it always makes for an interesting listen when it’s done well like this

Wait, What Did You Say? - Stay Safe, Little One.
87

Always a sucker for an indie emo release, especially one with such competent vocals, interesting use of instruments, and emotional performance

Carly Harrison - Natural Disaster
19

The vocals on this are unbelievably grating, the lyrics are uninspired at best and the production is boring and sloppy. This single is undoubtedly a disaster but there’s nothing natural about the excessive distortion on Carly’s voice that just makes it sound like her vocals are being played out of a Google Nexus

fakemink - The Boy who cried Terrified .
84

Definitely a fun release, feels a little like Mink has rushed to put out new music to profit off of the back of his newfound popularity, but this definitely doesn’t take away from how hard these tracks sound

Harry Styles - Aperture
78

Harry is really changing his direction with this one 😛
Went in apprehensive but actually such a fun listen. The production is nicely layered and it definitely feels like Mr Styles could be taking his music a step further with this album. Great anticipation is brewing

Charli xcx - how i'm feeling now
86

Album sounds as hot as Charli looks on the cover

Charli xcx - BRAT
89

My gateway to the world of hyperpop, such a fun listen every time, the only typa white girl music I want to hear at the club

A$AP Rocky - Don't Be Dumb
75

Awesome to hear some new A$AP, just a bit of a shame this project was short on real bangers, despite the consistent quality of the tracks

Lucy Bedroque - Fête de la Vanille
87

I’m experiencing the Bedroque journey backwards but alas, this mixing is angelic

Robbie Williams - BRITPOP
39

Setting the bar low for music in 2026. Robbie has released yet another thin and unseasoned record which is uninspired at best and cringe throughout

Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works 85–92
92

The fact Richard made this before turning 20 is absolutely insane. Certainly the greatest IDM album of all time, perfect for vibing too or playing in the background while studying. Beautiful, interesting, and varied

98

This album’s longevity among my favourites perfectly demonstrates its impressiveness. The project that got me into more alternative and interesting hip-hop and allowed me to open my mind to more unique production styles. The Money Store will always be a monumental album and, in my opinion, the defining sound of the Industrial genre

Radiohead - Kid A
95

Some of the best and obviously most influential electronic music of all time, very obvious Aphex Twin influence but still unique in its own weird way

Title Fight - Floral Green
86

A beautiful mix of post punk and emo with some great shoegaze elements, perfect for a snowy winters day

The Garden - haha
82

Definitely a very diverse project and very weird in places but pretty consistent and a really fun and replayable album

On Carly Harrison - Natural Disaster
"Nothing wrong with a song being small and intimate, but if you produce a song where the instrumental is little more than a tapping of a few keys on a piano monotonously for the entire song, it’s going to sound thin, incomplete, and boring. Furthermore when the vocals sound that clunky, and frankly, bad, it’s hard to really get in touch with the message of the lyrics which, upon inspection, seem to be about as unique and thought provoking as every mainstream pop song, with the added bonus of being hard to follow and lacking in any coherent story. The song is a good first effort and I see the vision, but lying to people and saying they have talent just because the truth hurts makes them complacent and is an insult to true art and good music"
On Talk Talk - Laughing Stock
"Hadn’t considered this, definitely something to consider when I give the album a relisten !!"
