This album is just so funky and fun and weird and exactly what I had hoped for, what an amazing project
Such an immersive listening experience with some really brutal and fun production that makes the record truly fly by
One of the most well renowned and influential projects of all time and certainly deserved, despite the slightly repetitive feel to the tracklist
These guys are on an incredible run, album so good it’s prompted me to relisten to the newest release
Such intimate and vulnerable writing is hard not to be impressed by, really attention grabbing and just a solid combination of soul, jazz, and hip-hop
This albums greatest strength is its simplicity, which when paired with such a calming vocal performance creates such a peaceful and pleasing listen
Disastrous that it took me so long to write a review for Greep. Obviously an absolutely astonishing album, lyrically insane and instrumentally a masterpiece

Another relisten and thank god because wow this record sounds incredible. Production-wise very different to any Sufjan I’ve listened to but just sounds so polished and pretty
A relisten and a bump comfortably up into my favourite albums of all time. Such an emotive and depressing record that’s perfect for making life’s minor inconveniences absolutely unbearable

Upon relisten I was so unbelievably wrong about this Geese record. Every song is different yet cohesive to the overall album, as well as being funky and groovy and just such an interesting and enjoyable listen.

"Nothing wrong with a song being small and intimate, but if you produce a song where the instrumental is little more than a tapping of a few keys on a piano monotonously for the entire song, it’s going to sound thin, incomplete, and boring. Furthermore when the vocals sound that clunky, and frankly, bad, it’s hard to really get in touch with the message of the lyrics which, upon inspection, seem to be about as unique and thought provoking as every mainstream pop song, with the added bonus of being hard to follow and lacking in any coherent story. The song is a good first effort and I see the vision, but lying to people and saying they have talent just because the truth hurts makes them complacent and is an insult to true art and good music"
