Vol.II still clears but this is undoubtedly superb. Canada should take the maple leaf off their flag and put these guys on there instead
Shame this guy is an absolute wrongun because damn did this cat cook.
Some of the most emotive songwriting I’ve ever had the good grace of hearing. Duk Koo Kim has one of the most insane beat drops in the entire indie folk scene
Yeah yeah. I get it. I was wrong. This record might actually be a masterpiece, this such a fun and quirky use of instruments, and Byrne’s vocals are extremely compelling. Quintessential in the new wave scene
I’m loving the direction modern music is taking regarding exploring new sub-genres and incorporating different cultures into projects like these. It’s so refreshing and adds such depth and diversity to the scene
FUCKKKK I love math rock. These guys funk the shit out of me and I need more. Very high hopes for their future.
Not a dull moment, got me reconsidering my stance on firearm regulation
A really fun listen, just felt a little bit thin in places. Trans EDM artists always be cooking up some heat
While this record sounds pretty insane instrumentally, I actually don't think I can get behind Mr Ronnenfelt's vocals. They sound a little too strained and I'm not entirely convinced they work for this album
I am interested by the new direction Harry is taking for his music with this project, it's just a shame it sounds a flat LCD Soundsystem parody album
This is some crazy hard punk, the whole record sounds the exact way it feels to be in a moshpit where white boys are just straight up punching each other
The variety of genres sampled and mixes made is very refreshing to listen to compared to the often narrow scope of UK Hip-Hop
Kind of an insane album but definitely some of the most creative production I’ve ever heard and a really interesting mix of genres that make for an incredibly fun listen
Oh such a scenic and blissful album. The tracklist blends seamlessly together creating one long, winding, ethereal record perfect for an aesthetic nighttime walk
Undeniably a beautifully produced album but the rapping was a little monotonous and there wasn’t much going on that I was especially impressed by
A very solid indie rock release, would’ve liked to have seen more influence from the alt-country genre but not sure which direction the band will take in the future
Zach Hill truly showing his range here, an engaging listen throughout, with the intense and unpredictable drumming being the centre of interest
I take back everything I’ve ever said about this album, it is certainly the best metal album of all time. How does one simultaneously write lyrics with such weight and riffs that’s sound so unbelievably hard
A way funkier sound than their later stuff but definitely a more unique and interesting listen
We love a relistening party, still some of the best rock music ever made. Blessed on the ears
