What can I say bout Be that hasn't already been said? It has gorgeous production, gorgeus lyrics, gorgeus features; it has it all. The instrumentals from J Dilla at his peak and Kanye West in one of his best moments as a producer are instantly recognizable, even if you don't know who made it, and that's a testament to the quality of this album. It's a good project. I love the sound that it has, like it was forgotten in the 2000s. But I have to say that it commites the sin of being repetitive.
As an extra fact: The project was known as a lost media until 2021, when it was re-released. The re-release included all the Deathmetal and Kicking Cars songs (the two projects that the band released before disappearing in 2001), as well as the "Rot versions" of the songs, which were actually the versions found into a cd when ... read more
