somehow sounds too padded and bloated with tracks and incredibly empty with the songs themselves. in particular the weird mixing , low-energy verse and ai use make this the worst (released) kanye project yet. i honestly feel bad

mostly just kanye mumbling over shitty trap beats.

Sounds like a pretty interesting mix of alt-rock and space rock. I really enjoyed the just-about seamless inclusions of synths alongside 90's-esque fuzz and chorus-riddled guitars. Although the vocals are drowned out a little in the mix, i found the interesting chord progressions and solos throughout make up for it and then-some. Overall, a very good debut!

standout tracks: ode to an orchid, kiss of venus, love lies bleeding, BLOOD BROTHERS WTF THIS IS GREAT, icarus

although this comp had a few questionable parts (the weird hokeyness on overture, the hangover basically being another unrelated song with kanye slapped on, whatever the fuck was going on with talk to me), it's all mostly forgiven with crazy shit like the transition between emotions and pain or the thundercat prod on black skinhead or basically all of one i love. In general, it's a very good, unique albeit janky comp.
