When Navy Blue ended his previous album with one of the most beautifully written songs of all time, I knew he was onto something. He had entered a niche of vulnerability, openness and honesty, one that hiphop truly was short of. Of course he had always been one of the more compelling rappers when it came to emotional lyricism, but this time he really hit different. All he had to do now was continue along this path, and that he did wonderfully.
Man we are so lucky to be living in a world with music like this.
