When David Guetta finds out there's such a thing as overproducing maybe he will be good. I am a hypocrite in a way though because if this came out in 2016 I would've probably loved it.
Although this is a low rating, this album actually really surprised me. There were some high highs, most notably on what is by far and away the best track, Business and Personal (Intro) That beat switch hit hard but even before the switch I loved that buttery smooth instrumental at the beginning.

Man, I knew her name from Lauder Too by JID, so I decided to give it a spin, and I'm so annoyed. What even was this??? The vocals were ear piercing and unnecessarily doubled and came on WAY TOO STRONG at the beginning and the music video was purposeless and unremarkable. Really enjoyed the instrumental, but overall, this song was not that interesting or unique. It was fun and a slight changeup in Ariana's sound, but still so basic and boring. This would be a straight 50 if it wasn't for the awesome music video.
Really unique take on a breakup album, very experimental and extreme song structures built over raw and sexual lyrics. The Albini production enhances the high moments on the album greatly, most notably on the final track, Ecstasy, where the heavy guitar match up with that deep and hard bassline, and then the changing of chord hits RIGHT at the kick on the 6 and I cum everywhere.
