YOUR REVIEW IS: hazbin hotel music for serial killers
after hearing his 2019 rap devil freestyle, i was excited. it was good and i was hyped to listen to more of his old stuff. i found out quickly that the freestyle is his only good song.
"Solace" feels less like an EP and more like someone quietly unraveling in real time. Earl Sweatshirt sounds isolated but strangely at peace with it — like he’s learning to sit inside his own head without flinching. The production is hazy, almost dissolving under the weight of his thoughts, but that’s what makes it beautiful. It’s rough, intimate, and brutally honest.
Favorite track: Part IV
Least favorite: Part III
really solid record. couldve done without a few features but other than that its good.
THE album. ever. of all time. truly shaped the r&b and soul world and changed it forever.
very fun, very consistent project from james. however this is where i feel the repetitive aspect of james starts to come into play, as all of his albums start to feel like this or a worse version of it nowadays. production from alc makes it stand out above the rest though.
A perfect album in my opinion. Emotional and hard-hitting.
Emotional, touching, broad, and great. Everything I expect from a Clipse record and then some.
Amazing record, one of my favorite albums of all time. Tyler really taps into his rapping potential here, the best of all his albums. The record touches on every aspect of life, the songs are great, and if they arent great they're still very fun to listen to and silly.
This record is amazing, encapsuling every single good thing Bryan has done to this point. Every track is impactful, envoking so much emotion. However, it sounds very similar to Zach Bryan and Quiet, Heavy Dreams. He does nothing too risky or new with this record, and honestly sums up to simply "okay" for his standard.
