Overhated. there are weak spots on this album, and it is not their best, but most of the songs here are enjoyable. Definetely not the greatest thing ever, but listensers should have a good time with it.
Best Songs: 540000 Degrees, Transgression, Spinal Compression, Echo of My Scream, Millenium
The 1-2-3 Punch of Bastard/The Death of Music/Thing Beyond Things is one of my favorite pieces of music ever written.
Loss permeates this record. You can feel the love that Nathaniel and Parker had for Groggs. "Top Picks for You" Is a beautiful way to memorialize someone you care about in our modern era. This album is something special.
This album is a beautiful manifestation of love. Artists who do not love what they are doing cannot make things such as this.
In this album's theme of Nostalgia, you can see a love of life. It's not the type of love where you have to wake up every day reaffirming it. But it's a love that you know, deep in your heart, to be true. That no matter what happens, you will be fine, tomorrow is always another day.

Some of the more "ambient" tracks sound nice, but the album as a whole feels incomplete... perhaps because they took away the drums.
It's not as good as Waves I, but it's still a solid collection of tracks that work well as background music as well as party music. Waves I and II are two halves of the same experience; the whole is better than the sum of its parts, either as vinyl or two compilation CDs.

This album is a classic of the French Touch scene of the late 90's and early 00's, and every track (save one) are classics and feel like they belong on this album. There's not much you can say without ... read more
