Dream Theater - Parasomnia
65

Mike Portnoy's Drums are the best part of this album. Dude is a monster.

Sadly, this album loses steam pretty quickly, with samey songs and repetitive choruses. It's also very long and the album cover is horrible, which leads to a very boring listen.

Slipknot - All Hope Is Gone
95

Severely underrated, and one of the best drum performances by Joey Jordison.

Slipknot - Psychosocial
87

Fruit salad is super yummy.

Slipknot - Wait and Bleed
93

It’s a good song to listen to as you bleed out in a bathtub

Slipknot - Snuff
90

This is the type of song that is delivered from the heart.

Slipknot - Dead Memories
82

I love the music video for this song.

Slipknot - Sulfur
88

That ending chorus is HEAVENLY. The rest of the song carries you through pretty alright!

Slipknot - Vermilion Pt. 2
94

A surprisingly beautiful, touching song.

Slipknot - Bone Church
73

Eh, it’s an enjoyable listen, but how much will you remember of it afterwards?

Black Sabbath - Paranoid

They wrote this in fifteen minutes. How!!??

Black Sabbath - Evil Woman, Don't Play Your Garmes With Me
97

The first doom metal song, and a lesson that sometimes simplicity makes songs great.

Black Sabbath - Sweet Leaf
88

Classic single (and arguably the first stoner rock song) with a good B-side.

Black Sabbath - Children of the Grave
100

Incredible song. Massively ahead of its time, all band members are firing at full force here.

Black Sabbath - Changes
100

I’m going through changes.

Mudvayne - The End of All Things to Come
70

Falls off HARD in the second half, but otherwise good.

Best Song: World So Cold

83

A high point of the Nu-metal era, L.D. 50 provides a highly unique sound that lives in a space of it's own.

Gojira - From Mars to Sirius
82

Not a huge fan of the mixing on this album, It sounds like it was recorded in an ampitheatre. However, the content is great!

Best songs: Backbone, World to Come, Global Warming

Code Orange - Underneath
95

This is like listening to a machine die.

Listened to this on a whim and never looked back. Deathconciousness is a triumph of independent music.
