Excellent, though a tiny bit dull at moments.
Card Games and Old Friends is awesome.
After relistening to this album for a while now, I can clearly state two things. One, this is genuinely one of my favourite albums of all time. Every song is perfect.
Except. Two. The 5 or so minutes of silence during The Party is ridiculous. Why did Jason do this? The singular mar on an album that would otherwise be a candidate for my favourite of all time, and it's not a small problem either.
Still, I love this album dearly.
Wtf is going on with the vocals on some of these tracks? Really odd, not a huge fan. That said, every song is still good, but Monterey, The Zenith, and Dungeon are propping this up over a 70-75 because wow, these 3 songs are straight-up 10s. The Zenith is really on another level though, an all-time goated track imo.

If I dislike an album after 2-3 songs, I will stop and won't review. In all likelihood, I will give far more good reviews than bad, since I won't review bad records unless I have a particular reason to (fan of the band's previous work, insistence from a friend, etc).
