High highs but not consistent. Scarborough fair is one of the few songs that brings me into a different world everytime.
Half the verses are off beat. They’re too lazy or high to not mumble their words.

I’m not gonna hate on them for the sake of it. The production is good and the musicianship is there. I think my only two complaints are the songwriting and the singing. It comes across as forced and cheesy.
I think we are now at the point where the general music scape is so bland that when a band has any sort of originality, people act like it’s the greatest piece of art.
This album isn’t bad, it’s far from it. But it also isn’t incredible. It’s really the definition of mid.

It’s not awful but it’s not good.
Earls been doing the same thing since the critical success of Some Rap Songs. Find a sample, loop it for 2 minutes, and rap over it. There isn’t structure. Which is fine but if you are doing the same thing for the last couple projects, it all just blends together.
I’m glad he is happier, I just want more versatility is all.
The good songs hit hard, but the other songs blend together and aren’t the most memorable.
