incredible last single from this album, florence's voice has almost never sounded so powerful yet so intimate. filled with triump and catharsis to the brim, which is especially poignant when we consider her miscarriage 😢 she consistently proves herself to STILL be on the top of her game. fantastic production and surprise synths in the last section!

a triumphant return to form, really set the standard for this album rollout and how gothic / supernatural it was going to feel. blends the best parts of the grandiosity of ceremonials with the grungy guitars and strings from dance fever. you can really tell she created this while on tour or just after. this should've been on the original album, it slots right into the aesthetic of ray of light. for a demo, this is extremely advanced; the echoing vocals really compliment the ambient synths, rounding out the melancholy vibe. perfect song for at night.
