Kay kay kay, great rage production from vmpsta and Láu Cá unique flow shines so well. Good proj!
How do they do it man, after all these years, the vocals still sounds crisp.
Slower and more tender than The Most Dear and The Future, feels like fungus music. I enjoyed every whispers coming out of the duo though.
I recently found out about Lowertown through the roll out for this album. They were so good, and reminded me of how I got into listening to music - going to parks with my headphones on and looking at the trees. The songs here reminded me of that feeling of peace with the great instrumental and whispery voicelines.
"No tree can grow to heaven unless its roots reach down to hell."
Very diverse and interesting project from fakemink that focuses more on storytelling, bout how the fame and his drug usages affected him, baptizing him into a new person, and fucking up his mind, wondering whether he would ascend or descend into madness.
Edit: I've been listening to this for so much and had a thought. This album some of you might say that it's nostalgia-bait and yes I agree, the production on ... read more
Jesus mtfk Christ, you know that feeling when you listening to a DJ and recognize the sample so you and him smile at each other for a split second? Yeah this is that times 1 Million. Every sample is so well-picked and joined together flawlessly, FLAWLESSLY. The AOTY contenders this year are craaaaazy and it's not even half the year yet
The lyricism and epilogue on BandCamp is in itself a masterpiece. As for the music, do I even need to say it, I got goosebumps for EVERY song, what a journey this album has guided me through. I seriously need to read the epilogue, and lyrics again and self reflect on how solitude either kills us or ascend us.
Man it's a shame they move away from their raw post-hardcore sound in earlier works :(
I know that time flows and people changes but this new, I would say more polished, digital metal sound just isn't interesting, making the instrumental very generic.
I don't usually rate singles but this one, GAWD, considered the dishes dirty mom.
Pretti pretti please more of this sound!
Average cloud rap that feels really melodic, mixing feels pretty good, but it is repetitive and gets a bit boring at like the last 3 songs for me
Holy, I'm not a big fan of Rest In Bass, but listened to this recently and old Che - Sayso is so good
Super decent project, jazz truly is crazy how it can seamlessly combined with ANY genre in this case Afrobeat
Wowow, I love the graininess and the overall feel and texture it built
My single braincell cannot keep up with the count and the riffs at the same time
