Like the gusto of the horns in the opener. Don't be afraid to make more bold choices in the production man
It sounds nice, but a bit bland for my taste. Synthpop has evolved, but this already feels dated. "Nice" alone makes this a forgettable listen to me.
Solid project. It's a surface scratching album, but done with polish and finesse. It's like eventually talking to a person who you think has no personality, but then realize, "oh wait, this conversation is okay so far". Optimistic for her career but I hope she decides to take more risks going forward. Beer and Clampitt did well here.
Some high highs but with some whatevs thrown in the mix. Creatively, it's cohesive. Sonically, it's a little bit all over the place. Genre swapping throughout the album left things fresh, but it sometimes felt like paint thrown at the canvas. Jackson Pollock gets his flowers too every now and then though. Robbery with the Caravan sample was my fav listen.
