“We ain’t been humble we hear all the talkin’ hit ‘em with hollows and clean em with salt.” 😭✌️🔊🗣️🔥
Pretty damn tuff mathcore with hella flair to it. I hope their stuff in the future maintains this sound at all times.
Super sick and catchy acid jazz. Reminds me of Jamiroquai a bit. The production was incredible and still holds up sonically to this day.
Holy hyper tech death. The shit that’s being played on here sounds damn near impossible to play. These niggas got some real talent.
Bleed the future is absolute gas, you got bone crushing blast beats with virtuoso riffage, add a little bit of damn near rapping growls, and those classical references and you get this fire ass shit.
Every track is extremely relentless, and you don’t get bored from a single second of listening to each song. Reverie on the Onyx is my personal ... read more
A nice debut, but it really started to fall off a bit for me after courier. Not bad by any means, but I do wish the tracks stood out slightly more.
God damn. Riff after riff after riff after riff. These niggas cooked.
These dudes are genuinely riff machines, and make E standard sound not only tuff af, but also pretty damn heavy. Which is hard af considering how damn near every band now down tunes to hell.
Really dig the vocals too, they were extremely consistent throughout the album. Sylosis is also just a sick balance between thrash and melodeath, they don’t really lean towards one or the other.
No way in hell this album only ... read more
Damn this shit is so heavy, I’d say even more than Dopethrone.
That bass was absolutely disgusting to hear along with those super fuzzed ass riffs. However this album fails to keep me engaged like how Dopethrone did. Don’t get me wrong, I was tuned in to ts, but I found parts of the album pretty boring.
God damn, this album is a bunch of genres mixed in at once.
Like the average Boris album, ts is a very unique listening experience. Each and every track stands out from one another. You’ll start off with some Shoegaze, then end up hearing some stoner rock, and then mayble you’ll just have a bit of drone to wash ts down.
My only gripe really is the vocals. I think they’re good, but I feel like if they had a bit more oomph I’d rate this higher.
Overall a nice and ... read more
This is pretty good, but Loathe’s next album blows this out of the water.
The riffs on the album sound a lot more like the generic prog Metalcore riffs to me. Are they bad? Nah, not really, but I prefer the shoegaze transition they had on their next album as it makes their sound to me much more appealing.
Still quite the good debut!
I like the tracks on side B even more than Emotion.
Carly retains everything that made emotion tuff and upped it a notch and boy oh boy did it pay off.
HOW DO THESE NIGGAS DO IT???
HOW DO THEY MAKE THAT LOW E SOUND THAT GOOD IN A MIX?
WHY IS THIS SONG SO GAS??
WHY IS THIS BAND SO TUFF??
The transitions in the song were just insane, and neither transition lasts too long or drags out either.
Wow. This was an amazing listen. Instantly became my favorite Metalcore record ever.
Loathe, like Thornhill is another band that I’ve had on my radar. I’ve heard some of their songs using that dumb ass discord music bot, and I liked them but I kinda wasn’t super invested.
Now that I’ve focused on actually listening to their work, this album is insane. Great singing, brutal vocals, and that guitar tone that love so much. Seriously how the fuck did these niggas make that ... read more
Extremely tuff.
Thornhill is a band that I’ve had on my radar for a while, but unfortunately a lot of other stuff has occupied me and so Thornhill got pushed back a bit.
Ive had high expectations for the band. Now that I’ve given their debut a listen, I can say that they were definitely met. Despite my expectations, I was a little skeptical that they’d be another ShitAss Djent band.
Nigga I was WRONG. They’re not just some ShitAss meshuggah and periphery rip off, ... read more
