I used to really like Kim Petras. Out of the “not-quite-famous, but still famous with chronically online pop listeners” almost-popstars, she was probably my favorite. Like most people though, I fell out of love with her and her music for a while, as she kept releasing more and more mid projects that just felt like they had no heart behind them. “Detour”, however, reignited that flame.
