Maybe I can appreciate the album more since I am from Boston ("Harvard Track team runs past my truck stuck on Storrow"). And the documentary really helped put the lyrics into context. But yeah. This album is so GOOD! AAAAAAAAA
Never heard of this guy in my life. Every track on this album is a singer/songwriter's dream. Reminds me of late 2000s/early 2010s -- it is easy to pick up on the John Mayer influence. It's very country in the best ways possible.
It's pretty interesting and cohesive. I think the meaning is lost on me, though.
