an album which means a lot to me as it was through the likes of by design and rose golden that i truly came to love music as a whole. maybe not a perfect album but itll always be special to me

updating since i cant stop listening: this is genuinely incredible every song hes slight tweaks but overarching themes with varying levels of depth which show yet another side to Kendrick that we havent heard before - the r&b cuts such as luther and dodger blue genuinely give me goosebumps every listen too with a beautiful luther vandross sample and dodger blue having an array of exceptional features.

one of the biggest suprise enjoyments of the year as i hadnt checked out much of cordae before, this is honestly great

another crazy album from the west coast in 2024

i truly dont know how anyone can listen to this album and not have their life changed

really strong sounding album with a bunch of perspectives on a new tyler with mentions of fears and experiences in his life and how it reflects him as a person and artist, overall super impressed with all the elements blended into this release and will be listening for a long time

disappointed in myself for forgetting to rate this album for so long, a truly life changing project

an album that made me fall in love with music as a whole, as i keep revisiting it i realise theres nothing i can fault its magical while still being adventurous and yeah its just perfect

dont know what to say, the sounds and style on display fit parannoul so well and this feels like the step forward from the already great previous projects, combining the abrasive nature of tstnpotd and the imagery and beauty of atm. If this is the level of quality he can put out im so happy i can experience the development.

probably my favourite project from glover just for the excellently executed ambition it shows, the album feels complete and as a send off for an artist who has had a great career it is brilliant

such a breath of fresh air this is amazing, love common always staying true with his craft and this project is another great addition

im genuinely amazed by boats progression in the last year from someone i would never think about to now dropping two of the best psych albums in consecutive years, this blending of worlds creates a unique atmosphere start to finish and im just happy it exists and that yachty has become another artist who im excited about their music again

lupe sounds right on form here and its a joy, fantastic sounding production and an interesting concept really make this one of the most enjoyable listens of the year

parannoul kinda carries but its ambitious and sounds it overall coming together for a very enjoyable project

relistening in 2024 its just fun and doesnt feel harmful, i still cant feel any hate towards it even if that is through nostalgic lenses

gets a bit too much hate for the obvious gkmc snub but without that its a fun album with some bangers i cant hate it
