I'll admit, there were maybe 3-4 songs on here that I enjoyed. However, the rest of the record blended together into shades of greige. No hate for those who enjoy it, but I just don't see myself returning to it.

I honestly gave From The Outside an attempt to surprise me. As a fierce 2010s Tumblr Music Warrior, I did have hopes to enjoy this album. However, those hopes were met with a repetitive, cheap imitation of already popular music. Nearly every track reminded me of a catchier, better song from another artist (ex: "This Is Me Breaking Up With You" is very reminiscent of Avril Lavigne's "The Best Damn Thing" album singles. Beautiful new track from JB and Chelsea. The song feels undoubtedly Bree-esc yet new and refreshing all at once. ADORE.

the fries ordered within the nothing-burger combo meal. admittedly, it's not the burger itself, and I rather enjoyed it. nothing groundbreaking however.
