me when I race Diamond Jubilee to see whether I'll finish my homework before the album ends and I lose. :(
live laugh love finals week
BUT I DO LOVEEEEE THIS ALBUM <333
i've never heard anything like it, the elements of pop that I love, the elements of lofi production that I love but neither being too overbearing and somehow keeps my attention throughout an entire 2 hour run time with build ups and outright gorgeous riffs.
like shitting in a urinal, its interesting in the way that i wonder "why did they do this" and "how"
god this albums lyrics fucking hurt. what hurts more though is that the instrumentals just give build-your-own-slowcore-album with the full starter pack included. what somehow outshines everything else though, why the fuck is there a cover of last friday night on here that is the LONGEST SONG BY A LONGSHOT ANDDD IT SOUNDS LIKE SHIT? god this could've been so good...
godddd one of the harder albums to review for me. The second half blew me away (everything after the first half of sticky) but the first half of the album is fairly shit with very few good moment. would've loved to give it a higher score because of songs like tomorrow, balloon, darling i and like him being such strong songs.
this album succeeds in hitting VERY hard but still feels a little too soft in some moments
flexorcist and prophecy of the dragon still bang but the rest of the album kinda stinks…
drip drip drip! goes the score now!
music you don’t want to be listening to when your friends are making out in the backseat
outsider music is um… interesting.. not for me though
yeah no… too much lou reed, too much drugs, too much dogshit
Disregarding the ROT versions, this album BANGS with would I would say are no bad tracks, I just need more time with it
how was this after soviet kitsch… this record is very on and off with very similar sounding tracks which even though sometimes very pretty, sometimes come off brash, too similar or downright generic.
Also the deluxe edition tracks are pretty damn bad
