no words for how beautiful this is, while giving it's dark moments. Imo idmthy is slightly better but it's still close enough.

fuck. no words can describe the feeling of listening to this in its entirety. hopelessness and depression at such a low that isn't comprehensible
normally not for drone music but this is more than an album its a sound track for a broken and dark world (which I love)
by far Sufjan's most personal album and boy is it so fucking emotional, while being chamber folk perfection

not much I can say abt this amazing album that hasn't been said, however this hold a special place in my heart as it introduced me to many new things to listen to
Since I've rated over 100 albums now I think it's time to properly review them in some way. And to start off it's my favorite album of all-time.
This was the first album I had ever heard in full. From the start I was immediately hooked with the openers dark and grim atmosphere and from there I had to listen to the whole thing (even tho it was 12 am lol).
