B0AH dipping his toes into the progressive electronic lane is really nice. I'd like to see him go beyond the very post-rock inspired synthy chamber sounds and dig into some more complicated and driving linear composition in the future if he explores this style more.

This project both clears Experimental Rap and also is just better than most of Peggy's discography.
For an "experimental hip hop release" this sure is playing with lots of sounds that the "Underground" is doing far better right now, at least in my view. This wouldn't really be a huge issue if the beats were interesting, and some of them are, but a lot of these feel really safe for Peggy, especially compared to his earlier noise rap, and it doesn't really stick out well in the world of noisy hip hop we're in beyond it being Peggy on it vocally. This is definitely good and servicable cloudy digicore, but there's a lack of a real coherent vision for me to latch onto consistently unfortunately. Still decent and worth a listen.
