this album is nothing short of beautiful.
i am not exaggerating when i say i have *never* seen an album stick to a theme this effectively while still giving each track its own unique identity. it is genuinely really impressive. not one song felt out of place, even with how different they all are they still all felt like they belonged. the theme itself is amazing, i can’t find the words to even describe it it’s just so pretty.
out of all camellia albums, this one feels most like ... read more
very disappointing. was hoping for much more
i noticed a very common theme where almost every song was drawn out way more than it should be. this album could be 2/3 the length and it would probably not be as bad. most songs just didn’t have much substance to them and felt empty so there was no reason to stretch them all out to over four minutes.
another problem was that the songs that were good were only really good for the first half or so. the first drop was always incredible and ... read more
about what i expected, nothing too special
all of gram’s songs just sounded like basic gram and myosuke only rly stepped out of his comfort zone for like two or three songs (and it paid off cause liberation and sum were the two best songs). even though every song on here was at least decent, the album didn’t have enough variety for my liking which made it a slight bore to get through.
i’m at least glad myosuke went back to his roots for this album and has moved on from the ... read more
my only real complaint is with dry land, the first like third is so different from the rest and it feels weird knowing it’s all one song. i like both parts for what they are but i think it’d work better if they just cut it at like the 3 minute mark and just had the second part as an interlude
apart from that pretty good album it’s got good variety and it’s got some rly pretty songs too like the fish song
i’m a fan of this more chill style of hyperpop and i like his soft voice a lot it fits really well with the beats and it’s quite pleasant to listen to
glittr tho… OH MY GOD that beat is almost perfect. literally the definition of ear candy like the fucking beep boops i LOVE beep boopy beats so much bro they’re like crack for your ears they’re just so satisfying to listen to in any song they’re used in. and again his voice is perfect for the song i ... read more
bit of a hit or miss for me
there’s some songs i’d just need to be in the mood for like it molds and birthday girl, and then there’s some i just straight up didn’t like like the world is ending and 12/25
and then there were some that i feel could’ve been so much better like silly, i saw the potential in it but the overlapping vocals just made it sound messy, and coping mechanism i absolutely love that one i love the compressed sound but it’s too short ... read more
yea this just barely beats galaxy burst for me. the louder, more chaotic nature of this one just fits my taste slightly better i love it
you NEED to listen to the full version of this album. the version that's on streaming services has like half the songs and does not do it justice. all the best songs are on the full version
there’s only about two songs that i might skip depending on my mood and pretty much everything else is just incredible, i mean i literally only had 4 songs below a ... read more
i can never decide if i like this or vol3 better but i will say if it weren't for bowstring and right now this would easily be better. i do rly like the amount of variety in this one tho, every song sounds completely different while still being speedcore so it still feels all tied together
i've never liked laur's albums man god they're so fucking boring. i don't get it his singles are fucking top tier he has so much talent and potential but his albums are half just this orchestral beethoven shit thrown in. and that's fine!! the songs themselves are beautifully composed and can be enjoyable on their own!! but mixed in with the hardcore electronic songs it just breaks the flow of the album and i guess i get what he's trying to do, but it doesn't work. the album comes to a grinding ... read more
kokushimusou is his best speedcore song to date and its in his top 3 for sure, it's a damn near perfect song
love the traditional japanese theme of the ep overall
amazing
i will admit the songs are pretty similar which is why the scores are all basically the same but theyre all fucking good (except for the new game plus remix that song is ass) so i dont care that much
he's really been going downhill since joe fight i gotta be honest man i mean hes still got good songs but this new sound of his with the really loud distorted noise is getting old fast and most songs sound the same and make my head hurt i miss his old style
still doesn’t beat mixpeed ofc that’s just too iconic but my god this album has some serious bangers
i gotta say this has to be the best era of kobaryo to me, his sound is more evolved than it’s ever been and he keeps the perfect mix of trying new things and sticking to his roots with this album, it’s incredible
still pretty upset about the lack of features on this album, i mean cmon we couldn’t have even gotten one remix? and the one feature we do get is gram of ... read more
innocence sounded like some hyperpop tf
i really like how immortal incorporated the melody from the previous song which was an interlude i thought that was rly cool
it’s little things like that that make albums feel connected and continuous and like a full fledged project as opposed to just a collection of songs i love it
USUALLY I LOVE ALBUMS THAT TRANSITION SEAMLESSLY BETWEEN EVERY SONG BUT THIS TIME THERE WERE LIKE THREE DIFFERENT TIMES WHERE IT TRANSITIONED AND I DIDNT EVEN REALIZE IT WENT TO THE NEXT SONG UNTIL I WAS LIKE HALFWAY THROUGH IT AND THEN ID HAVE TO RESTART THE SONG 😭
the transitions are a bit too smooth 😭 and every song is the same bpm i think so the album just feels like a 47 min long song not to mention it literally has a 20 min song in it
i’d have to relisten to xronial to know for sure but right now this is camellia’s best album for me. every song is immaculate
that intro is genuinely the best introduction to any album ever made. it’s so fucking hype it actually gives me chills every time. gets you so hyped up for the album
overcomplexification is like the perfect song bro. every drop is so good, the whole song builds up to the main melodic drop so well, and the final drop after that just brings everything ... read more
i’ve been sitting here for like thirty minutes writing a passionate review of this album i was on like the fifth paragraph and this fuckass website just decided to refresh out of absolutely nowhere and i lost most of my progress. i’m pissed. i’m not writing all that shit again. just know this album is a masterpiece. my second favorite album of all time.
