this album really feels like it needs to be more. the concept, documentary trilogy, and extremely personal aspects all leave me wishing keem did something to pay them off. the feature performances are weak, the production lacks texture, and for every deeply personal bar keem has, he has another bar that adds nothing. the core of the album is what keeps it afloat, though.
